Lighting the Way

Last updated on

Private islands invite owners to relish in the solitude and enjoy the peaceful tranquility in your own little corner of the world. Come nightfall, the darkness may be a bit too isolating. Many owners choose to install outdoor lighting around their private island estates to facilitate night strolls and general transport after dark. However, the traditional streetlamp is an obtrusive energy consumer compared to the serene natural landscape of your island. This is where inventor Jongoh Lee comes in.

The Invisible Streetlight is no ordinary solar light. Yes, it saves up solar energy during the day and emits a soft, natural glow at night. But Lee’s innovation is that these lights are designed and shaped to look like tree branches that can wrap around actual trees. No other support is required. Outdoor lighting has never looked so green.
