Luxury Chalet Operator Descent falls into liquidation
Wed, Aug 26, 2009
This past week saw the fall of one of the industry’s leading luxury tour operators: Descent International. The company which offered high-end luxury chalets and complete ski holidays in France and Switzerland has announced that it has gone into voluntary liquidation.
Offering some of the top luxury ski chalets in the business since 1997, Descent reportedly suffered recent financial difficulties that led to the company closing its doors. It’s a surprising downfall for the high-end operator who offered lavish holiday homes with impeccable service to match.
Descent asks that anyone who has booked their services and chalets to please contact David Stephenson at David Rubin & Partners on DavidStephenson@drpartners.com for more information.
