Purple Ski, the Méribel luxury-chalet specialist and Paradizo new partner, has added two of the resorts finest, luxury chalets to its portfolio – following the unfortunate collapse of Descent International and Scott Dunn’s withdrawal from the resort – and has subsequently become Méribel’s premier luxury chalet operator.
Nestled in the quaint Méribel Village and full of rustic beauty, Foinsbois (sleeps 12) oozes Alpine charm. Formerly with Descent International, the spacious interior features warm colours, a homely kitchen and dining area, and boasts all the expected modern luxuries, even the outdoor hot tub is made of local stone. Just a two minute walk from the chair lift, which provides quick access up to the Altiport and the main slopes of Méribel, the price of a week’s stay starts from only £941 pp.
La Petite Pia (sleeps eight to 12) is a free standing chalet situated in the heart of Méribel. Stone clad and spread over three floors, the chalet (formerly a Scott Dunn property) has wonderful views from the wide sunny balconies over Méribel valley. The interior is a mix of beautiful polished and tiled floors and wooden panelled walls. All four bedrooms have private bathrooms, but the enormous master bedroom has its own luxury en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and private balcony overlooking the valley. Prices start from just £805 pp.
