Michelle Obama at Villa Padierna Hotel in Marbella
Michelle Obama is well into her luxury vacation in Marbella, the ritzy Malaga beach resort in Spain‘s sultry southern region of Andalusia. The United States First Lady and her youngest daughter are enjoying the Spanish “sol y playa” on a relaxing beach getaway with some culture mixed in.
Obama selected the luxury hotel Villa Padierna, a Ritz-Carlton luxury resort in Marbella considered one of the premier luxury resorts in Spain. The Obamas reserved 60 of the hotel’s 128 guest suites and luxury villas and are expected to enjoy the hotel’s fine restaurants, three golf courses, private beach access and a luxury spa offering eight baths.
The Hotel Villa Padierna Marbella offers a Royal Suite luxury villa with pool, terraces and 24-hour butler service, though it is not confirmed where the First Lady is staying within the luxury hotel.
Michelle Obama and daughter Sasha are expected to visit la Alhambra in Granada and have an official reception with King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia during their stay in Spain.
