Glittering Holiday Lights and Culinary Delights at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

There will be magic in the air with Santa tuck-ins, story book teas and holiday wagon rides down dune-lined paths.

The S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship Arrives
The S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship docks in the lobby for the holiday season. Live televised event with children’s chorus. Made from 1,200 pounds of sugar and 3,000 eggs, the S.S. Amelia serves as a festive backdrop for countless holiday memories.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Amelia Island’s official start of the holiday season begins when the resort’s forty-foot tree is illuminated. Over 200,000 lights glitter throughout the grounds. This festive evening includes a fundraiser for YMCA, entertainment, holiday cookies and hot apple cider, Santa’s arrival and a spectacular fireworks display.

Santa’s Holiday Dinner
Immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves and reindeer will be present to share a dinner in a festive, magical atmosphere. Admission includes a photo souvenir with Santa. Buffet style dinner with all of the children’s favorites, local seafood, braised beef short ribs, a delectable dessert and candy station.

Santa’s Storybook Tea
A Ritz-Carlton treasured tradition with a fireside holiday storybook read by Santa plus an afternoon tea, with a selection of finger sandwiches, pastries, candy and cake.

Christmas Eve Dinner at Café 4750
Choose from the day’s regionally inspired seasonal menu including local seafood and prime meats or a la carte menu of coastal favorites.

Christmas Eve Dinner in Salt
Celebrate Christmas Eve at Salt with a festive, contemporary American, four-course menu with duck prosciutto, brioche crusted cod, braised bison short ribs and gingerbread soufflé. Salt’s seasonal a la carte menu is also available.

Café 4750 Champagne Christmas Brunch
Celebrate Christmas with a delectable array of fresh coastal seafood, herb-crusted prime rib, seared local fish, bountiful hot selections and mouth-watering dessert bar.

Christmas Dinner in Café 4750
The Café presents a special coastal-inspired menu prepared for the day or the delicious a la carte menu with regional favorites.

New Year’s Eve in Salt
Celebrate this New Year’s Eve with a memorable four-course culinary experience featuring the best local seafood, prime meats and game.
▪ Saturday, December 31, 6 pm – 9 pm
Seating 1: 6 pm – 9 pm: $125 per adult and $170 per adult, paired with wine, plus gratuity.
Seating 2: 9 pm – Midnigh: Count down to the New Year with a five-course menu, party favors, fireworks and a champagne toast at midnight.
▪ $185 per adult and $240 per adult, paired with wine, plus gratuity.
New Year’s Eve Black & White Masquerade Ball
An evening of glamour and style reminiscent of Truman Capote’s infamous Black and White Ball of 1966. Lavish food, live music, dancing, open bar and fireworks. Black & White attire is encouraged. Masks will be provided and guests are welcome to bring their own. Make this New Year’s Eve a Night to Remember! Must be 21 or older and provide valid ID at registration.

NEW YEAR’S DAY
New Year’s Day Brunch
Ease into 2012 with a Bloody Mary bar and a scrumptious brunch with slow roasted prime rib, Eggs Benedict, fresh shrimp, local fish and all of your breakfast favorites including a delectable array of specialty desserts.
