Pimalai Resort & Spa Wins World Luxury Hotel Award 2010
Pimalai Resort & Spa, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the world, has just been voted “Winner 2010 – Best Scenic View” at the recent World Luxury Hotel Awards.
The very best hotels from across the world competed at the 2010 “World Luxury Hotel Awards” gala ceremony in Hua Hin, Thailand, on October 10th, 2010.
The “World Luxury Hotel Awards” is about congratulating hotels that have taken the extra step with regards to the quality of their facilities and service standards and, as such, they are differentiated from ‘good hotels’ to become recognized as “exceptional hotels.”
One of the judges at the gala dinner remarked that when inspecting Pimalai he felt he had to “keep my jaws slightly clenched, so as to avoid walking round with my mouth continually falling open.”
Mr Tiratas, Director of Sales for Pimalai Resort and Spa, was on hand to receive the 2010 Best Scenic View Award on behalf of Mrs Paninart Tiyaphorn, Pimalai‘s Managing Director. “It is wonderful for our resort to be recognized with such award; it follows the prestigious award received last year for our beautiful villas; I take this opportunity to express my great appreciation to all the Pimalai team who has greatly contributing to help us receiving these awards for the past 2 years,” she said.
