St. Anton

St. Anton am Arlberg has been running winter sport for over 100 years. The long alpine ski tradition is cultivated in a particularly large slope arena, one of the most prestigious of the Alps. Today, the Arlberg ski area is one of the largest and best known in the Alps. An almost immensely large network of slopes with many modern mountain railways and lifts extends around the peaks in the border area of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. It can be used with only one ski pass. Directly in the village you get into the new Galzigbahn, which takes you in a few minutes into the probably most varied part of the ski area. Here there are not only several beginners-carving slopes with a fantastic view of the mighty peaks. Other ski lifts bring the winter sportsmen also up to the Schindlerkar and the 2.811 high Vallugaspitze, the highest point of the ski area with amazing views. Several fun parks, including the Stanton Park, thrill snowboarders. There is a permanent race track as well as countless retreats and legendary après-ski bars. A truly unique and wonderful ski region for all levels.

Ischgl

Ski fun and party culture can hardly be separated, in Ischgl young and old athletes enjoy the huge Silvretta Arena, with full dance floors and international megastars. The village in the Paznaun has just 1,500 inhabitants and yet it is the gateway to one of the largest and most popular skiing areas in Tyrol. From the small Ischgl you go up to the Silvretta Arena, which reaches into the Swiss town of Samnaun in the Engadine. It covers a huge range of different slopes at a snow-safe altitude of 2,000 to 2,872 meters, combined with a wealth of highly modern lifts. Their freestyle park, the largest contiguous in the Alps, makes it the hot spot of the young scene. But also, inexperienced skiers can find the right slopes here. On the Idalp you will find the beginner’s terrain with many wide slopes. In addition, a ski kindergarten, a youth club and the snow sports academy. Ischgl, however, would not be Ischgl without its legendary Après-Ski Gaudi, its top events and world stars, which are regularly honored here. The most famous are the annual “Top of the Mountains” concerts at the beginning of the season, at Easter and at the end of the season.

Kitzbühl

Some say skiing has been invented in Kitzbuehel. What is clear is that the annual Hahnenkamm race is the best-known ski competition in the world. Which city in Tyrol can claim to have regularly organized ski races since the 19th century? The ski area around Kitzbüheler Horn and Hahnenkamm is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Alps. Snowboarding fun parks, many wonderful ski routes for freeride fans, modern lifts and a wealth of cozy ski huts. If you have a lot of experience on the slopes, you should also try out the Streif, which is one of the most difficult race tracks in the world. Although it has a rather moderate elevation of up to 2,000 meters, the ski area is very snow-safe between December and April. Kitzbuehl also scores with good accessibility and its famous lifestyle flair. The high density of boutiques, domes, après-ski bar and discos ensure that after a fulfilling day of skiing there is always something to experience and to enjoy.

Idyllic villages amidst a unique winter mountain landscape and luxury villas guarantee a winter fairytale of the extra class. The ski resort of Gstaad-Schönried consists of the towns of Gstaad, Schönried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen and St. Stephan. Together they form the largest sub-area in the Gstaad Mountain Rides ski region. No less than 105 kilometers of slopes are available for winter sports enthusiasts. There are about 61 kilometers of easy slopes, 28 kilometers of medium difficulty and about 16 kilometers of difficult slopes.
