Travel around Fiji’s Turtle Island

Do you need a break from the pressures of life or are you looking for a relaxing retreat? Fret no more as there is a refreshing vacation spot that you can visit, which is found in the isolated areas of the South Pacific known as the Turtle Island. This luxury island resort, which is an enchanting place that became under the possession of Richard Evanson in 1972, is just one of the many members of the Yasawa Group that is established in Fiji.

Turtle Island is the perfect getaway for tourists who want to experience intimacy, privacy, romance, and calmness all at the same time. Relaxation is assured with the stay on any of the 14 thatched-roof bures (a hut made with wood and straw) with two traditionally-decorated rooms.

Guests will definitely be able to have an effective rest since the cottage is large and comfy enough while the entire home is brimming with light. The ceilings provide enough breathing room with a height of 21 feet and are manually woven by the Fijian craftsmen. The plus factor of the cabins-for-rent is the picturesque view of the Blue Lagoon’s calm waters as provided by the opened windows.

The beautiful wood-and-straw cottages have different material features such as a large four-poster bed, double shower, dressing area, and a drawing room. Furthermore, the lodgers will be refreshed with the cabin’s readily-available snacks and drinks like fruit juice, coffee, wine, and soft drinks.

Turtle Island promises a meaningful stay because every cottage has a Bure Manager as well as a cultural advisor, whose responsibility is to look after the guests and care for their needs. The job of these managers is to assist the tourists in scheduling activities like picnics and snorkeling. They will also be there to take care of the laundry and replenish the foods in the refrigerator.

Different activities may be enjoyed while staying in the wonderful Turtle Island. People may do soothing walks along the seashores or sail the sea in any of the boats provided by the island. Water activities may also be done like swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Romantic dreams may be made real by couples and it is done by renting the beach and having a picnic by themselves. Other activities that are offered to the guests are horseback ride, fishing, wind surfing, and riding a mountain bike.
