The Reefs Club, a new private residence club in Bermuda
Bermuda is one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in the world. However, a 2005 government policy restricts the amount of real estate that can be offered to foreigners, thus drastically limiting the supply of vacation homes available on the island. Not to fear, as fractional ownership is surging, there’s a new private residence club opening in 2009: The Reefs Club.
The Reefs Club offers luxury vacation at a fraction of the price of traditionally owning a vacation home in Bermuda. The private residence club is a collaboration of the award-winning Bermuda hotel The Reefs and renowned interior design firm Vision Design.
The residence club features elegant, fully-furnished two- and three-bedroom residences with spectacular ocean views on a secluded pink beach. Private Residence Club members are steps away from the Reefs’ three gourmet restaurants, a new spa and world-class snorkeling and diving.
An on-site concierge is available for all members’ needs, including dinner reservations, golf tee times, on-site spa appointments and any other island adventure. Members can also swim in a private infinity pool, fitness center and rooftop putting green out in the fresh sea breeze. Residences reflect the quintessential Bermudian charm with pastel tones, island-inspired furnishings and walls of windows overlooking the sparkling ocean. There are jetted hot tubs on private balconies, spa bathrooms and supreme flat-screen televisions in bedrooms and living rooms.
The Reefs Club is part of the Elite Alliance, an exchange program for owners at a select, growing collection of luxury residence clubs. The distinguished group of private residence clubs expands members’ vacation options in a variety of locations.
