Couples can choose from a choice of four packages, which can be upgraded as necessary. The wedding packages include a four course dinner with the finest Tuscan wines for guests; a professionally crafted wedding cake; a bridal bouquet and groom boutonniere; a professional make-up stylist for the bride and much more.
Sanctuary Retreats’ villas in Tuscany offers a range of beautifully appointed properties, many of which are exclusive to the luxury operator. Villa Boccella – an elegant estate, near Lucca
A stylish eighteenth-century property with its own private chapel and beautiful ballroom, Villa Boccella is the ideal location for an intimate wedding blessing and celebration. The villa is set in an exclusive estate near Lucca and also boasts a grand dining room seating up to 30 people, as well as extensive gardens featuring an outdoor swimming pool. The property sleeps up to 24 guests across 11 bedrooms in the main house.
Villa le Siepi – a medieval castle, Panzano
Villa le Siepi is a beautiful sixteenth-century castle owned by an Italian noble family and set in the Chianti village of Panzano – where couples can marry at the village’s centrally located church, Santa Maria Assunta. Just a short walk away, guests can enjoy a wedding meal in Villa le Siepi’s covered loggia or dining room. A larger party could dine al fresco by candlelight in the villa’s formal Italian gardens. The property also boasts a private tennis court, spacious swimming pool and gym. Villa le Siepi sleeps
10 people across five bedrooms and includes maid and cook services for 10 hours a day, 5.5 days per week.
Villa Poggi - a photographer’s paradise near Impruneta
This impressive nineteenth-century Florentine estate enjoys scenic south-facing views over the Chianti landscape and is accessed by a 1km cypress-lined private drive. The private villa’s picturesque ornamental pond, landscaped gardens and infinity swimming pool provide a wonderful backdrop for wedding photographs, while weddings can take place at the nearby Santa Maria Church in Impruneta, which features a beautiful façade and gardens. Villa Poggi is elegantly furnished and was built by Poggi, one of Florence’s greatest architects, during the late 1800’s. It sleeps up to twelve guests.
Villas are available on a Tailor Made (villa only) basis or with an upgrade to the unique Sanctuary Hosted basis.
